Velotric Triker Electric Tricycle

While I purchased this bike for my wife, I have taken 2 test drives and found it to be easy to pedal even on the lower PSA settings. The gears shift easily and on a steep switchback trail, I tried using just the throttle and the bike easily and smoothly climbed the hill without any effort on my part. Since both my wife and I mainly want to ride to get some non-weight bearing exercise, neither of us will probably utilize any PSA setting above 2 since the higher levels attain higher speeds with little effort at all. The only reason I did not give this bike a 5-star rating was because the instructions on installing the front fender were not clear and the factory had the mounting screws installed on the upper holes of the front fork when the brace needed to be attached on the lower empty holes that I did not notice until 2 days later. And the rear fender brace holes did not easily match up with the holes in the braces, so I had to either bend the fenders a little or bend the braces to properly install the rear fenders. Having said that, If I did not already have a 2-wheel ebike that my wife talked me into buying a few years ago, I would buy a Triker for myself!!

I ordered this trike without even seeing it. My dealer was suppose to get them in but never did. So I ordered from the website and had it in 5 days. I am still learning how to DRIVE it but I know in time it will come naturally on how to drive it. It had everything I wanted in an etrike except that FindMyAndroid was not the app to be able to find it. I have ridden ebikes since 2015 so this was the next step up when I got older (76). It's built very well and there is a lot to learn because it has so much to offer. We plan on hauling it on a small trailer along with my hubby's ebike.

I previously owned a different etrike brand, but after 2500 miles the solid one piece axel sheared clean in half. So I went looking for a better designed product. The Triker is it! The split-axel design feels much more stable especially when turning, and it is already in two pieces so I don't have to worry about it shearing in half. The rear cargo basket is perfect for my 18 lb dog, who always rides with me. We just reached 150 miles on the Triker, and we both love it. I also appreciate the large dealer network-there is a dealer a mile from my house👍🏻I prefer a no-nose seat. The dealer switched the seat at no extra charge, and delivered the assembled trike right to my door.

as part of my goal of weight loss and exercise, I became intrigued with the idea of an e bike. i purchased one two years ago, only to find it was just too big and cumbersome for me. Then, last summer I purchased one of the best selling smaller bikes It fit me better, but I fell a few times. I’m still a part time musician so I can’t afford to damage my hands. i realised that balance had become a reality for me, but I didn’t want to stop riding. I seriously began researching tricycles. I narrowed it down to two and nearly purchased the very popular trike that is made by the builder of my other bike. Then, I began hearing more and more about Velotric, one positive comment after the other. I also saw that he other trike was a single speed, no Shimano multi gears. I live in a hilly area and wanted the assurance of both the 7 speed gears and the 5 levels of pedal assist. i also liked the “sensor swap” feature between Cadence and Tourque. I wanted this investment to be long term. velotric’s warranty is two years and the other trike is one year. seeing the quality and specs of my Triker. reaffirmed my decision. was it more expensive than the other trike? Yes! Does the Triker justify this price difference? I truly believe it does.

This trike is amazing. I'm a large rider who uses oxygen and not stable for a regular bike so I started researching trikes. I've bought two Velotric bikes in the past and am very familiar with their quality and build that is all top notch. I was excited when I saw they now made a trike but its on the high end of the price range and I wasn't prepared for that so I was looking at a competitor. I watched a review on the Triker and was sold. Its all around one of thd best on the market, it is extremely customizable. From frame adjustments to cruise control . It has great lighting, a fabulous basket and the liner is included, the seat back is adjustable both up and down and forward and back . This bike has a powerful motor with 5 levels of pedal assist and a 7 speed motor. Its easy to get on and its very stable, it has no movement or give when I get on. I never worry about it not being able to handle me. I've added a bucket on the front for my dog and we just get out and cruz around town. I'm able to pedal the whole time thanks to pedal assist.

The trike is worth every penny, its excellent quality, made with strong materials and is very sturdy. I love my Velotric Tryker, thanks Velotric!!!
