Velotric Fold 1 Plus Ebike

We are new to riding e-bikes as we have always had regular bikes. Now with over 200 miles in first month we have learned many things. We all three love the Velotric fold 1 plus bikes the best.

Velotric 2" more room to get on vs XP4.

Velotric has lower step though so easier to get on than xp4.

Velotric is very light my wife can load in jeep but can't load the xp4 in the jeep because it's to heavy. They both say they weight 63lbs but that is not the case.

Velotric battery,

Male 250lbs 63.8 miles and 15% battery left.

Female 140lbs 63.9 miles and 39% battery left.

Settings on both bikes were set on eco 1 for that test.

the bikes fold up nice in a 56 gallon tote with foam between them for a nice tight fit for travel. They will fit in a 40 gallon tote but we didn't like you can't add padding and to tight.

We have been stopped by many people and let them ride the bikes to test them out. We have two Fold 1 plus gray and Lavendar and one XP4 gray. It's been amazing to meet others and let them enjoy a test ride before they spend the money like we did. In just one month we have been to 3 different camp grounds and tested them on hills, grass, gravel, cement, and black top. Great bikes.

After doing much research, I decided on the Fold 1 Plus. Installation was pretty straight forward, the most difficult thing is removing all the padding from everything. I'm impressed by the quality of this bike. I've only ridden a few ebikes before and I like the technology included in this one. The display screen is super nice and charging my phone on a slow charge was an added plus. I underestimated the torque capabilities, you can really feel it kick in when you put more effort into peddling which is actually quite impressive! I purchased the seatpost 2.0 for added suppression on bumps when riding. Find My gives me some good peace of mind and overall, I'm really liking this purchase so far. Can't wait to take it to our first camping trip!

I’ve been very happy with my Velotric Fold 1 Plus so far. One of the biggest reasons I chose it was the folding design. It makes the bike much easier to store and transport while still feeling solid and well built when I’m riding it.

Velotric also offers some of the best color options I found while shopping for an e-bike. Another major selling point for me was the 450-pound payload capacity. At around 300 pounds, it was reassuring to find a folding e-bike that I could feel comfortable and confident riding without worrying about being too close to its limit.

The battery range has also been perfect for the type of riding I do. I mainly ride with my kids, and it provides more than enough range for our family rides without leaving me worried about running out of battery before we get home.

I also really appreciated being able to visit a local dealer and test ride the bike before purchasing it. E-bikes are a significant investment, and I didn’t want to rely entirely on internet reviews and videos. Being able to see it in person, sit on it, and ride it helped confirm that it was the right choice for me.

Overall, the Velotric Fold 1 Plus has been a great purchase. The only knock I would give it is being a bigger person the seat can be uncomfortable at times. I will be purchasing the comfort seat and suspension seat post.

I’ve had both of my Fold 1 Plus bikes for a while now. I bought one for me and one for my girlfriend because I wanted us to be able to ride together, and they’ve been awesome.

One of my favorite rides is taking the bike trail into downtown, walking around the farmers market, grabbing something to eat, or just enjoying the day. It’s one of those rides I never get tired of because there’s always something to see.

I also recently bought a dog trailer so we can bring our Goldendoodle, Gohan, with us too. Being able to spend time together outside while getting fresh air has become one of my favorite parts of owning the bikes.

Another thing I love is how practical they’ve become. I use mine to run errands, grab groceries, or just clear my head after a long week at work. I still get plenty of exercise, but it never really feels like a workout because I’m having so much fun riding.

The bikes have been reliable, comfortable, and a blast to own. They’ve become a big part of how we spend time together, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about getting an e-bike.
