Velotric Tempo Ebike

I ordered the new Tempo due to it's light weight and ability to ride it as a " normal bike". When it arrived and I assembled the bike the pins in the wiring harness for the display were bent so that I couldn't plug it in. I contacted customer service/ warranty department. After sending some information and pictures they agreed to send me a new display. In the meantime I rode the bike for a couple weeks with no power! I am an avid cyclist so I ride for fitness. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to ride without power. The bike is very comfortable, smooth shifting and the disc brakes work well. After a couple weeks I now have the new display installed and I am thrilled with the bike. I really enjoy using the included heat rate monitor and pulse mode. This is a great bike if you still want to get a workout, but take advantage of some assistance for hills or headwinds. I go out to ride even on windy days when I normally would think twice about fighting the wind . I upgraded the seat to a smaller lighter Terry saddle. I also changed the peddles to a set that are clipless on one side, and platform on the other. I normally ride with dedicated shoes clipped in, but like the option.

Don't hesitate to purchase if you are looking for an ebike that doesn't look like one and you enjoy riding for fun and fitness but would like some help when needed. By the way I'm a 66 yr old woman, the bike is easy to put into a hitch rack. I put the front wheel in first, then lift the back…

As I put it together over the last while (fenders, rack, etc.) I found myself admiring the quality and thought put into every aspect of the design and build of my new bike. Not the most difficult assembly, but gave me a sense of ownership I lacked when it was fresh out of the box. The rides have been just as exhilarating as the test-drive which sold me in the first place. Excellent work everyone.

I bought this eBike because I still wanted to pedal and get some exercise from riding. I've ridden it with the motor off and rides better than my old hybrid. It's light, well built and with the pedal-assist with several settings from hardly feeling or hearing the motor to a silent turbo when you need it. I normally ride it on pedal assist-ECO mode and at times on Pulse mode with the heart rate monitor it comes with to match the BPM you wish to reach. I ride 12 miles daily on pedal-assist-ECO mode which uses about 25% of the battery and it charges that 25% back to a hundred in under 2 hours. It's a fantastic bike, clean overall appearance, light and spiffy. I recommend it to people who wish to ride analog with a bit of electric boost when you need it.
