Feels amazing!
Love this bike! Had debated over a few brands and narrowed it down to this one (after a deep conversation with a fellow traveler in Montana and lots of months of research). The color, the weight handling capability, the ease of use and of putting together…not to mention it looks like a motorcycle. I charged it once and lasted for days!

Awesome First eBike
I finally pulled the trigger on my first eBike after reviewing many brands and models last fall. I'm impressed with the build quality of the N2X. I ordered on a Sunday and it was delivered 4 days later on Thursday. Packaging was very thorough and installation/setup was easy. I added some personal touches with flashes of red and replaced the pedals and grips. The stock seat and adjustable handlebar stem, along with the front and rear suspension, really makes for a comfortable ride. I'm looking forward to many adventures as spring and warmer weather approaches.

Best fat tire bike money can buy!
I originally had a nomad 1, but upgraded to the 2x recently and boy was I in for a surprise!!!!
Where do I begin?!
• The battery goes on for Weeks before it needs to be recharged, with a few miles every day.
• The headlight and taillight comes on automatically when it’s dark.
• the sleek design makes it look amazing and the paint is impeccable.
• the built in find my bike feature is a must have!
• the top speed of the motor is insane at 28 mph ( I personally had to turn it down to 20 mph to not burn out my brake pads quickly)
• finally the price! All these features for under 2500$ ….

Now I can go anywhere!
I had very high expectations when I bought and received a Velotric Nomad 2x bike and have not been disappointed in any way. I moved to an extremely hilly part of Arizona. My first bike, not Velotric, but really a very good quality bike and brand, did not have enough power/power assist to go up some hills without me making more effort than I was capable of-it was 500w peaking at 750. My nomad 2x with 750w peaking at 1400 is amazing and has an abundance of power. The bike arrived in a few days and was not super easy to finish assembly but I think most people can do it. If you're not at all handy maybe you shouldn't try or find a friend to help. It's a great bike I'm very happy to own it.

What is Stealth Mode? What does it do?

Our newly added Stealth Mode turns off all lights and limits your top speed. This is ideal for discreet riding scenarios like hunting or backcountry camping. It can be enabled from the display unit. When in Stealth Mode, you can long-press the + Button to activate the headlight in an emergency.
⚠️Note: Stealth Mode can only be turned on/off when the bike is stationary.

Is the Nomad 2X battery compatible with Nomad 2?

Yes! The high-capacity battery from Nomad 2X is fully supported by Nomad 2. To get the best performance, update the Nomad 2’s battery, display, and controller firmware via the Velotric app.

Is Nomad 2X waterproof?

Yes! Nomad 2X meets IPX6 waterproof standards, so you'll be able to ride confidently even in heavy rain and clean it using a pressure washer. All Velotric Ebikes are built to this standard.

Can I set the Nomad 2X to Class 1 or Class 3?

Yes. The default is Class 2 (throttle enabled, 20MPH max speed):

Class 1: Disables throttle.
Class 3: Disables throttle, increases top speed to 28MPH.

Adjust this based on your local regulations!

What is full air suspension, and how is it adjusted?

Nomad 2X features both front and rear air suspension:

Front fork: 120mm travel, with adjustable damping and air pressure.
Rear shock: Tunable rebound and compression damping based on rider weight.

This full air system ensures superior smoothness and control — making the 2X a true full-suspension off-road Ebike.

What features does the Nomad 2X display offer?

The same as Nomad 2! This includes app connection, PAS level, Class mode switching, top speed adjustment, motor/battery temp display, and SensorSwap™.

What accessories come with my Nomad 2X?

Nomad 2X comes pre-installed with fenders and a rear rack. Additional accessories are available on the Velotric website based on a variety of scenarios. Feel free to take a look!

How do I switch sensor modes? Can I only do this in the app?

You can switch modes via the Velotric app, or when the bike is stationary. Take a look at the display to verify which mode you're in. Then, long-press the M Button, and you'll see the mode switch. It's that easy!

When should I use Cadence vs. Torque sensors?

Torque sensors are better for variable-speed riding or rugged terrain, meaning riding will feel more intuitive (as the power output is more efficient and immediate). Cadence sensors feel more relaxed and are ideal for long, consistent rides, such as city roads. Explore each to find what fits your riding style best.
