Velotric Discover 3 Ebike

After my converted bike finally died, getting a new ebike became a priority. After test riding some others in my area and doing so much online research it became clear that the D3 was the one. With more power, longer battery life then it's competitors of the same class and amazing color options I was sold. I was a little intimidated about putting it together myself. But at the end of the day it was piece of cake. Love riding it and excited where it'll take me. I did have a minor manufacturing paint defects which they remedied immediately. Great service!!

At present, I only have around 50 miles on my brand new 2026 Velotric Discover 3 in Emerald Green and so far, I love it immensely. From the minute it arrived, I've enjoyed riding it phenomenally. It's pure pleasure. And this Emerald Green, man, what a beauty! The quality of all the components, the welds on the main frame and the quality of the paint are all to be highly commended. The completely assembled bike (partial Velotric and partial me) is a very tight maching with absolutely ZERO rattles anywhere. I really, really like a quiet riding non-rattling bike.

The shifting and chain mating with the cassette and deraileure is very, very fluid with zero skipping and absolutely zero noise per shift. I have mainly used the electric side in Torque and haven't really experimented in the cadence side yet. And so far, the torque side is working out pretty darn nice. The amount of assistance provided in each pedaling scenario, in any gear, just works really fluidly along with the effort I'm providing. I'm not in the best of shape at 73 and have really just sort-a got back into riding. And this D3 is really assisting me in this phase of getting back into shape.

And this is the first time I've ever used any form of suspension on a seat. That suspension seat post sure seems to help with the sharp bumps and concrete seams. I really can't praise this new Velotric Discover 3 enough. I just wish we had more flatter areas to ride with less…
